It only feels like one.

Choose your dream
The spirit of the man who dreams is quite content with what happens to him. The agonizing question of possibility is no longer posed.
Kill, fly faster, love to your heart’s content. And if you die, are you not certain of waking among the dead? Let yourself be led, events will not allow you to defer them. You have no name. The easiness of it all is Inestimable.
First Manifesto of Surrealism - 1924 André Breton

Cześć
I work with painting as a way of constructing inner spaces rather than depicting external reality. My practice focuses on dreamlike environments- places that feel inhabited, yet undefined, suspended between presence and absence.
These spaces emerge from moments of dislocation and subtle dissociation, when the sense of place becomes unstable and perception turns inward. I'm interested in states before movement and before decision - moments when nothing visibly happens, yet tension accumulates.
Instead of narrative, I work with atmosphere, colour an spatial uncertainty. My paintings function as mental landscapes: not representations of dreams, but conditions similar to dreaming - slowed time, distorted distance, and feeling of being somewherre that is not entirely a place.
Painting allows me to obseve these states without resolving them, keeping the image open, unfinished and quietly unstable.
